The Drink Safe No Regrets Summer of Sound Youth Battle 2009/10 was a great success! It was by young people, for young people and ran across the Coast providing alcohol free entertainment all Summer!
Summer of Sound gave 16 young local bands the opportunity to play 12 hours of live music to more than 600 local youth over 8 weeks at 4 Sunshine Coast locations!
17 young volunteers, 13 business sponsors and 7 staff from local organisations made the Summer of Sound Youth Battle the number 1 youth event on the Sunshine Coast!

The competition was hot with less than 5 points the difference after the industry judges scores were tallied.
The crowd vote launched No Mercy Marg to the head of the pack and into the music industry.
