The Future Leaders Program, which has been running since 2006, will be taking a year long hiatus in 2009 to undertake a comprehensive review and evaluation of the Program, with a view to rolling the Program out Regionally in 2010. The Future Leaders ProgramFuture Leaders is an exciting and innovative project developed by the Sunshine Coast Youth Partnership with the support of Sunshine Coast Regional Council and Stockland Sunshine Coast. Future Leaders aims to create connections between young people (17 – 29 years) and community, government and business leaders to share wisdom and broaden horizons. Participants will develop their leadership and project management skills with a view to achieving career development and success. At the completion of the twelve-month program, the Future Leaders will have developed a detailed career plan, coordinated a community service or event and completed at Certificate IV Project Management.
