The Future Leaders Program - Benefits

The Future Leaders program will provide young people with the opportunity to develop their leadership and project management skills with the guidance of key business, community and government leaders on the Sunshine Coast over a nine-month period.   The Future Leaders for 2010 are able to participate in this program along with full time employment and/or study as well as other personal commitments.

Future Leader participants will benefit from:

• A unique opportunity to actively participate in personal and professional development workshops that will explore internationally recognised leadership issues (See Program for more information).
• Direct access to, and the opportunity to work with, recognised business, community and government leaders during monthly leadership review meetings.
• Development of a leadership network within Sunshine Coast.
• Attainment of a Certificate IV Project Management qualification that can articulate into further study at a diploma level.
• Experience in planning and implementing a community project.
• Development of a personalised and detailed career plan, allowing Future Leader participants to action their career pathways with confidence and purpose.
