The Future Leaders Program - Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration and short listing during the recruitment process Future Leaders applicants must meet the following requirements:

Eligibility Requirements Be aged between 17-29 years.
Be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Demonstrate previous academic achievement with a minimum standard of successful completion of year 10 studies or Certificate III.
Demonstrate sound literacy levels.
Have demonstrated leadership skills as evidenced through their past or current involvement in community, education, sporting or other activities.
Have access to a support person (i.e. parent, guardian, or significant adult) who will provide assistance and guidance to enable the applicant to meet all logistical and personal program requirements.
Display effective time management.
Be available to attend, and actively participate in, all scheduled events and additional project management meetings to ensure that the Future Leaders program objectives are met.

The Future Leaders Community Project is a significant element of the Program and includes completion of the Certificate IV Project Management.
